And finally Birmingham

We have now completed our link up visits with a trip to the churches in Birmingham.  We arrived on the Saturday afternoon, and had a great evening chatting with Paul and Francis Campion as well as putting together our final preparations for the following day.

On the Sunday we visited Shirley Baptist Church and enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of the people we had seen on our previous visit.  Amanda was invited to be interviewed, and the children enjoyed playing and being part of the activities of Palm Sunday.

After the service we had lunch with the Campions and the children enjoyed playing in the garden, even enjoying a spot of croquet in the sunshine.

Then at 4 we were back at the church for cakes and talking about our time on mission.  We spoke about the different aspects of the work with which we had been involved, and tried to wrestle the microphone from Daniel who was very keen to speak about a great many, many things!

On the Monday morning we went over to IMC, where it was great to meet up with old friends and spend some time in the gardens and looking around at the place that was our home for a few months.  After lunch we made our final stop at Cadbury's World where the kids played on the climbing frames and we bought far too much chocolate!
